A long, long time ago, in a previous life, Usagi was the princess of the Moon (Serenity) and Mamoru was the prince of the Earth (Endymion) and they were deeply in love. Yet theirs was a forbidden romance. The tragic destruction of both the Moon Kingdom and the Earth came about because of their relationship.
