SUN-MUN tells TSAU-YIN that he should at least try to curry favor with Lady YUEN-SAU even if he doesn't want to make an audience with the Emperor in Rehe. YEE-HO reports to Lady YUE-YUET that SEUNG-LING cannot go to Yong Shou Palace as a result of her illness, so Lady YUE-YUET goes to Xie Fang Hall in person and sees SEUNG-LING suffering a wrist injury.
