In Dündar's attack, Alişar, who is hidden behind the trees, aims at killing Osman with his arrow but accidentally hits Dündar instead. Balgay escapes but Gündüz, Osman's elder brother, successfully becomes the new substitute Bey of the Kayı tribe.
